How to get the most from it
- Best-value use. Avios move to British Airways Club at 1:1. On Accor’s page, 2,000 Reward points convert to 1,500 Avios, and 3,500 Avios convert to 1,000 Reward points. Qatar’s own convert page was not opened.
- Common mistakes. The partner count is not confirmed: the site has said both “more than 90” and “more than 100”. Award prices were not captured. Do not pick either partner count.
- Expiry traps. Collect, spend, buy or gift at least one Avios every 36 months. Expired Avios can be revalidated within a year. The Avios page states a non-refundable fee of USD 0.015 per Avios. Purchased, gifted and boosted Avios last three years. Qpoints last 12 months.
