ADNOC Rewards

ADNOC Rewards explained: 1 point = AED 0.001, how you earn on fuel and Oasis, FALCON tiers, 2-year expiry, and converting to Etihad Guest or Smiles.

In 30 seconds

Who it's for

UAE residents who fill up at ADNOC regularly, especially with Special 95 or 98, and who also use the Oasis shop, car wash or lube change.

Who it isn't for

People who mostly fill up elsewhere, or who'd rather not show the app or their Emirates ID at every visit.

Our verdict

ADNOC Rewards is free and earns automatically once you show your ID or QR code. The points are small per visit, so the real gains come from paying with ADNOC Wallet for the 25% bonus and reaching a tier, which adds bonus points and monthly vouchers.

Key facts

  • ADNOC lists 3 points for Ultra 91 E-Plus, 5 for Special 95 and 98, and 10 for Oasis shop purchases, car wash, lube change and LPG app orders. Its home page describes these as points for each AED spent.Sources: S1, S2
  • Paying with ADNOC Wallet adds a 25% points bonus.Sources: S1, S2
  • Points must be used within two years of the purchase that earned them.Sources: S3, S4
  • You must live in the UAE and be 18 or over to join.Sources: S3

Insider tips

  1. Pay with ADNOC Wallet for 25% more. Paying through the ADNOC Distribution app adds 25% bonus points automatically. You can top up the Wallet in the app or at the convenience store and pay with your Emirates ID, mobile pay, ADNOC Plus card or smart tag.Sources: S1, S6
  2. Make each fuel visit count for a FALCON. Tiers are based on FALCONs, not points. A fuel purchase of AED 75 or more earns one, and so does a non-fuel purchase of AED 20 or more at Oasis, car wash, oil change, EV charging or LPG ordered in the app.Sources: S1, S3
  3. Know the tier targets. In 12 months you need 40 FALCONs for Silver and 200 for Platinum, with Gold in between. FALCONs expire 12 months after you collect them, and a tier lasts 12 months from when you reach it.Sources: S3, S1
  4. Reach a tier for bonus points on everything. Silver adds 25% bonus points on all purchases, Gold 50% and Platinum 100%, plus one-off upgrade bonuses of 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 points.Sources: S3
  5. Use your monthly tier vouchers. Each month Silver, Gold and Platinum members get coffee and bakery vouchers (25% off, 50% off or free), a car wash voucher, and lube change savings. Only one voucher can be used per purchase.Sources: S3
  6. Add family members through the Wallet. A Family Membership pools points from relatives, but they only count when relatives pay with ADNOC Wallet, and only the main account holder can redeem. Relatives' FALCONs go to the main account, so they need their own main account to get tier benefits.Sources: S3, S5
  7. Spread visits across days. Only a limited number of transactions earn points each day: 4 each for fuel, shop and EV charging, and 2 each for car wash, lube change and LPG. For FALCONs, only 2 fuel purchases a day count, and 1 oil change or car wash.Sources: S5, S3

Common mistakes

  1. Buying things that don't earn. Tobacco, phone cards, gift cards, mobile top-ups, lottery tickets, over-the-counter medicines and LPG bought at the station don't earn points, and neither do non-participating shops at ADNOC stations.Sources: S3
  2. Trying to pay Salik with points. Points can't be spent on phone cards, Salik, corporate cards such as iTunes or Xbox, or tobacco.Sources: S3, S5
  3. Converting points back and forth. Moving points to Etihad Guest and back loses most of their value: 110 ADNOC points make 1 Etihad Guest Mile, but 1 Mile only comes back as 20 ADNOC points (our sum: 110 points out, 20 back). Transfers can't be reversed.Sources: S1, S7, S3
  4. Splitting one fill-up into small payments. A fuel purchase only earns a FALCON at AED 75 or more, so two AED 40 payments earn none.Sources: S3
  5. Returning shop items without checking your balance. Return an item that earned points and ADNOC deducts those points. If your balance is too low, it takes their value from your refund. Items bought with points can't be exchanged.Sources: S3

How to earn faster

  1. Choose the right fuel for your car, not for the points. Special 95 and 98 earn 5 points per AED against 3 for Ultra 91 E-Plus. Use the fuel your car needs: the difference is small.Sources: S1, S2
  2. Do car wash and shop spending at ADNOC. Oasis shop, car wash and lube change all earn 10 points per AED, double the best fuel rate.Sources: S1, S2
  3. Stack Wallet and tier bonuses. Pay with ADNOC Wallet for 25% more, and reach a tier for another 25% to 100% on all purchases.Sources: S1, S3

Best time to earn or redeem

Earning

  1. When a fill-up reaches AED 75. Fuel purchases of AED 75 or more earn a FALCON towards your tier.Sources: S3
  2. Through the app. Show your Emirates ID or membership QR code when you pay, and pay with ADNOC Wallet for the bonus.Sources: S1

Redeeming

  1. Before the two-year limit. Points expire two years after the purchase that earned them. Check the app and spend older points on fuel or the shop.Sources: S3, S4
  2. Use tier vouchers each month. Tier vouchers are issued monthly and must be used while you hold the tier.Sources: S3

What your points are worth

  1. ADNOC's FAQ credits AED 16.10 of LPG subsidy as 16,100 points, which is AED 0.001 a point (our sum).
  2. So 5 points per AED on Special 95 or 98 is worth about AED 0.005 per AED, or 0.5% (our sum). 3 points is 0.3% and 10 points is 1%.
  3. Paying with ADNOC Wallet adds 25%, so 5 points becomes 6.25 (our sum).

Example with made-up numbers

  • AED 400 a month on Special 95, paid with ADNOC Wallet: 400 ร— 5 ร— 1.25 = 2,500 points.
  • 2,500 points ร— AED 0.001 = AED 2.50 a month, or AED 30 a year.
