Evergreen tips
- Join the free schemes for places you already use. Earning costs you nothing extra. Joining schemes for shops you rarely visit just adds apps.
- Prefer schemes with a fixed AED value. SHARE, Shukran, Aura, Tickit, U By Emaar and Emirates NBD Plus all publish one, so you always know what you've got.
- Watch expiry. SHARE points last 24 months, Aura 12 months, Darna 18 months, and Etihad Guest Miles 18 months unless you fly.
How we value points
We only give an AED value when the scheme itself publishes both how many points you earn and what a point is worth when you spend it. We show the sum, link the official page, and date it. Where a scheme doesn't publish both, we say so rather than guess.

Stacking tips (earning twice on the same spend)
- ID scan plus linked card. SHARE uses an ID scan or login; Tickit uses your linked card. Where an outlet takes part in both, you can scan SHARE and pay with your Tickit-linked card. Check the outlet in both apps first.
- Programme points plus bank points. Paying at a scheme partner with any card that earns bank points means you collect both: the store scheme (e.g. Shukran or Aura) and your bank's programme.
- Shopping portals. Starting online shopping from Skywards Miles Mall earns Miles on top of the retailer's own scheme, where both apply.
- Don't double-convert. Turning bank points into Miles and then cashing Miles out usually gives you less AED than spending the bank points directly. See the conversion guide · all UAE conversions.

FAQ
Which is the best loyalty programme in the UAE? It depends where you spend. For most households, SHARE (if you use Carrefour), Tickit (no effort) and the airline programme for your home airport cover the most value.
How much is 1 SHARE point worth? AED 0.10. Ten points = AED 1, according to SHARE.
How much is 1 Shukran worth? AED 0.05. Twenty Shukrans = AED 1.
Can I convert Smiles points to Skywards Miles? We found no official route. Smiles points convert to Etihad Guest at 8 Smiles points per Mile, through Rewards Exchange in the Smiles app.
Which payments does Tickit count? Visa and Mastercard cards issued in the UAE. Cards issued outside the UAE are not counted.
