Best ways to maximise GEMS Rewards (GEMS Education)
- Refer a friend to a GEMS school. Under the Ambassador Programme you get GEMS Points worth 4% of the referred child's school fees once they enrol.
- Book travel through the app if the price is right. The points for each booking are shown before you pay, and you can still earn the airline's own miles.
- Add family and friends. The "My Family & Friends" feature lets others use your offers and earn GEMS Points.
- Track expiry by month. Points earned in any May expire on 31 October of the following year.

Value, with the sums
- Ambassador sum: 4% of the referred child's school fees. For every AED 10,000 of fees, that's 10,000 × 0.04 = AED 400 in GEMS Points. Use your school's own fee figure.
- GEMS doesn't publish a fixed points-to-dirham rate on its public pages, so we don't value other earning.
How to earn
- Log in to the GEMS Rewards app with your parent portal ID.
- Buy flights, hotels or gift cards in the app. Hotel and flight points are credited after you travel; gift card points are credited straight away. You don't earn when you spend the gift card.
- Redeem partner offers marked "Earn GEMS points".
- Shop on The Marketplace, GEMS's online store for GEMS families.
How to spend
- Pay school tuition and transport at your GEMS school with GEMS Points.
- The app's My Savings section shows points earned and redeemed, and your total savings.
